Doug Loftus is a co-founder and managing member of Wealth Dimensions Group, an independent wealth management firm based in Cincinnati, Ohio. With more than 40 years of experience, Doug delivers comprehensive financial and investment advice to successful individuals and families, business owners, and family offices across the region and nationwide.
Doug’s background is unusually broad. Drawing on deep expertise in accounting, tax planning, investments, and estate planning, he serves clients across a wide range of financial situations, from straightforward planning needs to highly complex cases involving business transitions, liquidity events, and multigenerational wealth strategies. Doug’s approach to the discovery process sets him apart: he believes sound financial advice has to be grounded in a genuine understanding of a client’s values, family dynamics, and long-term priorities. His client meetings often go well beyond the numbers, and the result is advice that actually lands.
Doug began his career at the intersection of financial planning and emerging technology, bringing his degree in mathematics and computer science to a field that was just beginning to adopt planning software. He and co-founder Tom Curti started the practice in 1986, later registering as an independent investment advisory firm in 1989. While our firm has transitioned names to reflect our growth, our founding philosophy remains unchanged: a professional, fee-based practice grounded in the unwavering conviction to always do the right thing for clients. This commitment has guided our growth for over 40 years, built almost entirely through referrals from clients and the professional community who trust us with the people they care about most.
Doug holds a BA in mathematics and computer science and a certificate in economics from the University of Cincinnati as well as the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation. Outside of work, Doug is an avid soccer fan and longtime supporter of the sport locally. Deeply committed to and actively involved in the Tuberous Sclerosis Complex community, he helped found the Tuberous Sclerosis Clinic at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 1994, which has since grown into the largest of its kind in the world. He also serves on the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance Endowment Fund investment committee. Residing in the Cincinnati area, Doug and his wife, Linda, enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
